Competitions

The Association offers boat handling competitions and demonstrations to member clubs. These usually take place at one of our rallies but can also be held at a member club or one of their events. 

Below is  a link to the definitive competition handbook for member clubs and others organisations which is approved by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA). The officers of the RYA's Thames Valley Region endorse the principles in this handbook and hope that it will work well nationally. It is stressed that the handbook should be an ongoing exercise, with additional tests being added from time to time.

It is the earnest wish of those who have worked to build the handbook to this stage is that it is used to the benefit of the management of Motor Boat Competitions, and achieve recognition as a

worthwhile tool in the improvement and development of the sport.
