ATYC Rallies
The ATYC holds annual rallies which in the past have alternated between West India & Millwall Docks, The Queens Promenade in Kingston and Fawley Meadow in Henley. These rallies play an important part in the progression and maintenance of inter club relations and feature activities such as training, boat handling competitions & demonstrations as well as a dinner & dance on Saturday night. ATYC Rallies usually follow a three-year cycle with two consecutive events on the non-tidal waterway and a triennial tidal rally to West India & Millwall Docks. This site is a particular favourite for both our tidal and non-tidal based clubs as it is easily accessible for all.
For the 2024 Rally we're delighted to announce that we will be returning once again to the ever popular West India & Millwall Docks.

ATYC Dinner & Dance
Once a year the association organises a dinner & dance, This popular event with a guest speaker is a chance for our member clubs to get together to socialise and party. Our 2024 event hosted 16 member clubs who sent contingencies ranging vastly in numbers and totalling a fabulous 152 with the traditional award of the Old Father Thames Trophy being awarded on the night to the Richmond Yacht Club. Our Guest Speaker, Rob Dorey captivated the audience with his really interesting talk about his time on the high seas.
Open Meetings
Keep up to date with your association by coming along to the next
pen Meeting & Social Events, held throughout the year. These meetings are used to update the membership about the work that is carried out by the members of the ATYC committee. Dates and venues for the open meetings are published in the ATYC newsletter and are normally held in one of our member clubs.
